Here’s a timeline from registering for your SIM to starting to use your phone with digitec connect. As soon as you’ve registered at connect.digitec.ch, we’ll post out your free SIM card. Once it arrives, you activate it online in the Cockpit.
Get started straight away with a new number:
- If you’re not keeping your old mobile number, your SIM card will be ready to use as soon as you activate it. That means you can start enjoying your subscription now. Welcome to the digitec connect family :).
If you said you wanted to keep your old number when you signed up:
- Once you activate your SIM, we’ll switch your old number over to digitec connect on the date you chose. You’ll get an e-mail with the exact date and time.
- If you’ve still got a subscription or plan with another network, we’ll only be able to switch your number over once you’ve paid the last bill from your previous provider.
- Important: make sure you only cancel the device plan or the extra services. Don’t cancel the subscription itself. Otherwise you’ll lose your mobile number. We cancel your old subscription for you when we switch your number over to digitec connect.
Remember: if your number is registered under a company name, you’ll need to change it to your own name before we can switch your number over to digitec connect.
The best way to do that is to talk to your current provider.
