The basic requirement is a mobile device which is compatible with digitec connect eSIM.
As soon as you’ve confirmed that you want to switch to eSIM or (re)activate eSIM, your current digitec connect SIM is deactivated. This applies to any SIM you’re currently using – be it eSIM or a physical SIM card. To avoid being cut off for too long, please make sure you follow these two steps:
- The mobile device on which the eSIM is to be activated must be connected to the WLAN. Only then can the eSIM profile be activated.
- We will send you a QR code in the cockpit or by e-mail. Have a second device ready which can display this QR code (computer, tablet or mobile device). With the mobile device on which the eSIM is to be activated, you can scan this QR code to activate the eSIM.
